This demo is used to show how an electric vehicle energy management system (EVEMS) functions to allow the addition of an EV charger, while not overloading an electrical service that would otherwise be too small. The demo is interactive, giving students an appreciation for how these systems switch loads dynamically according to overall current draw on the service.
